Grim Voyage

Crystal sky
and boundless desires;
a hint of sugar upon open lies,
sinister smiles dressed in silk attires.
Broken ties
and amber fires;
burning flames that soon will die,
with tainted hearts that were once admired.

Rejoice we must they say, alas!
Our time has come
to unmask our ego made from glass,
and shattered one by one,
naked and undone,
inside a sleepless vessel without race or class.

Crystal skies
And boundless desires;
we wave goodbye,
to an endless slumber we retire.
